MILLED LEAD Lead sheet for roofing and weathering has been produced by the rolling method since the mid 1700's, meaning centuries of use have proven the longevity of the product. Rolled Lead conforms to European manufacturing standard BSEN 12588:2006 which specifies thickness tolerances and chemical composition in order to produce a consistent microstructure. The exacting tolerance of this standard ensures that when Lead sheet is fitted to a roof, the extent of thermal movement can be accurately predicted and the correct fixing method adopted.
